SEMINAR WITH MATCHMAKING: FINNISH BIO-BASED PACKAGING INNOVATIONS SAVING THE WORLD

In the world there have a high demand for bio-based packages due to regulative, environmental and societal reasons. The regulations regarding packaging are tightened in two steps.

The first step aims at avoiding or reducing the effects of packaging waste on the environment, which can be achieved by avoiding and recycling packaging waste, indicating the need for bio-based packages. The second step will further tighten the recycling quotas, which will increase the demand for package recyclability even more, and possibly further increase the demand for bio-based packages.

Business Finland (the Finnish innovation funding, trade, investment, and travel promotion organization owned by the Finnish Government) arranges a virtuel event where German companies can hear about Finnish packaging innovations and network with Finnish packaging sector companies.
